The Nursery is starting to come together. We still have finishing touches to do but I really wanted to get it set up and the house picked up before this crazy Hurricane Irene. With all the rain we have had Phil and I are very worried about trees falling on the house so the room where all of the baby’s stuff was stored needed to be emptied. Not to mention I have been dying to see it all come together. I think we have done a good job of keeping it simple and easy to edit as needed as he grows. When we bought our house in 2006, the first thing we did after settlement was tear up the carpet in the smallest bedroom. Our thought was that, based on this room, we’ll be able to judge the condition of the hardwood floors in the rest of the house, and decide if/when we might refinish the floors.
