Prepping for Hurricane Irene
So ladies it pays to marry a previous boy scout! Phil has done an excellent job of getting our house ready for Hurricane Irene. I came home to a fridge full of water, beer, and a freezer full of containers of water. Love it!
I was out shopping for book at Borders to keep us entertained and gave Phil the grocery list so we have good food to eat during the power outage. We are actually going to a house close by but we are ready wherever we go! Phil also secured the rest of the house where needed so as long as no trees fall on us we are good to go. One thing he did mention to me was the fact we have a percolator for coffee on our camping stove through it all….ahhh yes the little things in life. Below is picture of our dogs Scout and Sadie getting ready for the hurricane. Such easy going pups!
