Update on the Nursery
The Nursery is starting to come together. We still have finishing touches to do but I really wanted to get it set up and the house picked up before this crazy Hurricane Irene. With all the rain we have had Phil and I are very worried about trees falling on the house so the room where all of the baby’s stuff was stored needed to be emptied. Not to mention I have been dying to see it all come together. I think we have done a good job of keeping it simple and easy to edit as needed as he grows.
The furniture Phil refinished, the floors, and the crib all look great together. I am so pleased with how it turned out since we did everything individually and over several months. Our little man is going to look so cute in his room. More to come later and Irene better stay away from this house. Only 4 weeks left to go or less!

My mom made the quilt hanging on the rocker. I has spotted dogs all over it, which is appropriate since we have 2 beagles.
You did a great job on all the woodworking! It looks ready to go. Baby Woods will be very happy and content.
