What To Do With Over-Ripe Bananas
When a few bananas on the counter started turning brown, I had one question for Stacey: “When are you making some banana bread?”
After two or three days of asking, Stacey finally broke down and dug out her secret recipe book – that’s the binder full of handwritten recipes gathered from dozens of friends and family over the past 10 years.
As she started making the recipe, I said, “You know what would be good in there? Some of those frozen blueberries you got the other day.”
“Good idea!”, she said. And I got excited.
Cooked in stonewear, Stacey made one 8-inch loaf and four 4-inch loaves. Yum! Here’s the recipe from Stacey’s secret book. Better copy it quick, before she realizes I posted it.

What I made was a double batch. This recipe will only make one large loaf of bread. You are all very lucky I was not home because the rule is now ask before you post my secret recipes.

Thanks for the recipe Stacey (Phil) – I added it to my notebook of recipes
ps – the blog site is pretty cool!
Enjoy! It’s a good recipe. If you ever bake too much, I know where you can get rid of the extras
I shared this with the Ann of this great recipe and thanked your again.
Love the Blog…I will be checking back for pictures of my grandson.
Oh, yes. There will be pictures. Stacey is doing a post on the nursery that should be up soon.
